Technology & Combat Characteristics
A variant of the AMF-101 DINN developed during the ending stages of the First Alliance-PLANT War and as such, only a small number of units are produced. The AMF-103A DINN RAVEN (Reconnaissance Attack AdVanced Electronic iNstallation) is equipped with Mirage Colloid Stealth System, which is referenced to in the "electronic installation" part of its the name. It is also equipped with enhanced sensors and has improved mobility. Additionally, the design of its wings, front skirts, calf thrusters, backpack, etc., are revised.
The "A" at the end of its model number suggests that like the ZGMF-X10A Freedom Gundam and ZGMF-X09A Justice Gundam, the DINN RAVEN is equipped with nuclear engine and Neutron Jammer Canceller, giving it practically unlimited operation time. The DINN RAVEN features the same armament as the DINN. Although normally used by ZAFT special forces, the professional MS pilot, Kaite Madigan managed to acquire one through unknown means. Kaite's machine bears his trademark cross and custom handgun, and the hip storage racks are replaced by new hip armor that contain sub-thrusters.
History
During the First Alliance-PLANT War, ZAFT introduced the AMF-101 DINN for aerial combat inside Earth's atmosphere. Over time, several different variants of the DINN were created. One of these variations is the AMF-103A DINN RAVEN (Reconnaissance Attack AdVanced Electronic iNstallation), which is an enhanced reconnaissance model introduced during the ending stages of the war. Professional MS pilot, Kaite Madigan, somehow managed to procure a DINN RAVEN and painted it with his trademark white cross.
