Technology & Combat Characteristics
An AMS-119 Geara Doga with added equipment for high speed assault and capture operations. Its shoulder shield was now handheld for more ease of handling, with the right shoulder now sporting standard spiked shoulder armor. Its backpack was equipped with two additional thrusters and a pair of propellant tanks to further increase its operating range. It carried the same beam machine gun as the standard Geara Doga, but was now also equipped with a a giant bazooka as a countermeasure against anti-beam defenses such as I-Fields. Tri-Blades have also been added for short to medium-range combat, and can also be used as a flare (decoy). It was envisioned that their main use would be to neutralize infrared missile attacks launched from targeted bases.
All additional weapons and equipment were either borrowed from existing units, or modified in the field. It takes full advantage of the characteristics of the AMS-119, which revisited the basic concepts of the MS-06 Zaku II, in pursuit of ease of conversion and versatility, with the idea of demonstrating the high applicability of Zeon-series weapons.
History
At least three Angriff Dogas would be in service during the Second Neo Zeon War, with one assaulting a Superb Jegan firing from a stationary position. After losing its left arm, it would successfully destroy it with its giant bazooka.
