Technology & Combat Characteristics

Little is known about this unit due to its spontaneous creation from the Giant G-System on the Moon. The Black Wing was created right after Gabriel's Alpha Azieru was destroyed in combat, and its remains were swiftly mutated by the Moon G-System's energy into the Black Wing.

History

When Gabriel's NZ-333 α Azieru was destroyed on the top deck of the lunar Giant G-System, Gabriel himself survived, albeit badly injured. His nature as a Machina Sapiens, paired with his utter refusal to give up on his plan to trigger another Great Fall and thereby wipe out humanity, caused the G-System to activate again, taking the wreckage of the α Azieru and reshaping it into the Black Wing while spontaneously healing Gabriel. Tristan was unwilling to back down, despite his party's exhaustion, and when Gabriel dared Tristan to try to fight back, Vladi Zarth arrived aboard an MSN-04 Sazabi. While Gabriel was surprised that Vladi was still alive, he was still confident that his new Black Wing would be more than enough to win the ensuing fight. Gabriel's prediction proved incorrect as the Black Wing, despite its immense power and Self-Regeneration, was overwhelmed by Vladi and Tristan's party, resulting in the destruction of the Black Wing and the death of Gabriel. Minutes later, the Black Wing's wreckage was at the epicenter of an explosion that would have triggered another Great Fall if left unchecked, leaving it unlikely that even the remains survived.
