Technology & Combat Characteristics

The Desphys Mole is a mobile suit built from spare parts of the EMS-TC04 Desphys and designed for underground operations by switching the beam fangs to smaller beam drills that allow it to dig underground. Although the unit has performance befitting Desphys' successor, the beam drills' small size severely limited its output and can no longer function as beam rotors. The removal of beam guns also meant the Desphys Mole no longer possessed an option for ranged combat and was restricted to close quarters combat. These issues would deem the mobile suit a failure but is still a very powerful MS in close combat, thanks to the performance inherited to the Desphys.
