Technology & Combat Characteristics
A mobile armor developed in secret for the EA Plan, originally designed by EX- for the EA Plan. Unlike the other Extreme Gundams, the Dystopia Phase takes on a giant spider-like fortress form capable of taking on a flight form for atmospheric and space combat. It was designed for the purpose of destroying the worlds of GA and as such, its mere presence can distort them. The Professor suggests that it was made with the original Extreme Gundam in mind as an additional fifth Phase but would be unable to handle it properly, thus the plan was abandoned in an unfinished state. Instead, the data would be taken by Treme and finished. Alongside it, a new Extreme Gundam was developed as its core unit intended to control its colossal strength: the Extreme Gundam Mk-II AXE
History
A gigantic mobile armor controlled by Ex Treme and Sthesia Awar. Sthesia upon seeing the EA Plan and what it entailed coupled with Ex Treme's machinations, piloted this machine in an attempt to continue mankind's evolution and leave Earth behind. It first appeared in the middle of Leos' battle with Ul Ada and effortlessly crushed his Supremacy Gear. Sthesia wanting to fulfill the EA Plan, resolved to fight Leos and warped them into the space known as EXTREME TRANSCEND where no one else could reach them. Leos tries to reason with her, knowing that a part of her doesn't want to go through with this, but Treme eggs her on and forces the attack. The Dystopia Phase's power overwhelmed the Valiant Surface even as its Extreme Evolution pushed Leos beyond his image's form could handle. Leos in danger of being consumed by his own Gundam's power, Sthesia tries to disable his mobile suit through sheer force but the experience ends up nearly killing him.
The grieving Sthesia overwhelmed by the trauma of seeing Leos nearly dead causes her holoactor to start disintegrating. Sthesia Awar Primo seeing everything unfold tried to intervene and offered up a fragment of her data to save her but it wasn't enough. Through the convenient appearance of Pigna Hershey, she would recall the other Dark Sthesias and have them off up part of their essences to restore and stabilize Sthesia. She then exits the Dystopia Phase having evolved further and admits to her mistake about the plan and resolves to continue their mission in GA. Declaring her love and hope for Leos, his data resonates with his, causing a new evolution in him and restoring his Extreme Gundam with it undergoing a new transformation. Sthesia rejoins Leos and together they confront Treme, their new power smashing through its defenses and destroys the Dystopia Phase in one fell swoop. The mobile armor's broken form then disintegrates into a tear, revealing the machine's core unit as the Extreme Gundam Mk-II AXE as Treme retreats but declares that their battle hasn't ended yet.
The Dystopia Phase appears one more time as Treme, now calling himself Ex Treme begins putting his plan into motion with Primo acting as his co-pilot. In reality, Primo wanted to get close to him enough to initiate a virus that would destroy the both of them from within but Ex Treme already knew of the virus and manipulated data so that it'd only affect her as he exited the Dystopia Phase in his AXE before destroying it with her still inside.
