Technology & Combat Characteristics
The F90I-I Gundam F90 Intercept Type Jupiter Battle Specification is a modified F90 Gundam F90 Unit 1 equipped with the Type I (Intercept Type) Mission Pack originally used by the F90II-I Gundam F90II Intercept Type. The mobile suit is modernized with state of the art technology to perform on equal terms with current generation of machines, particularly those of the Jupiter Empire. Additionally, to suit the mission for which it was created, the original Beam Lancer of the Type I Mission Pack was replaced with a customized Shot Lancer, which has a built-in beam rifle and five nuclear warheads.
History
In U.C. 0136, F90 Gundam F90 Unit 1 was pull out of storage and modified into the F90I-I Gundam F90 Intercept Type Jupiter Battle Specification for use by Minoru Suzuki. This unit was one of the MS deployed during "Operation Steel 7" to destroy Jupiter Empire's Colony Laser "Shinvatsu". During the battle, the F90I-I was nearly destroyed by Callisto Brothers' Dictus, but saved by Mitchell Derek Nar's F91 Gundam F91 Jupiter Battle Specification at the cost of his life. The damaged F90I-I then acted as a diversion for Tobia Arronax's XM-X1 Crossbone Gundam X-1 Full Cloth to complete the Operation Steel 7's main objective, and survived due to the intervention of Tetenith Dogatie's forces alongside Rosemary Raspberry in her Arana Abijo. What happened to the mobile suit after that is unknown.
