The Gafran Mars Feather is an "Everse System" created to combat the fatal "Mars Ray" disease plaguing the Mars Sphere. It was developed using surplus Earth Federation and Vagan mobile suits left over after the war. Many variations exist including the Baqto Mars Feather. It is equipped with a back-mounted Magnetic Field Deployment Device. A special white coating is applied throughout the Mars Feather to protect it from long-term exposure to strong solar plasma. It is referred to as an "angelic mobile suit" due to its white coating.

History

Developed 37 years after the end of the Battle of La Gramis, the Gafran Mars Feather and other similar mobile suits equipped with the Everse System are deployed to prevent the spread of the fatal "Mars Ray" disease, transforming the Mars Sphere into a safe refuge.
