Technology & Combat Characteristics
Developed by the Innovators, the Arche Gundam Drei is a combat support variant of the GNW-20000 Arche Gundam and incorporated the combat support functions of Nena Trinity's GNW-003 Gundam Throne Drei. Also known simply as Arche Drei, it can deploy GN Stealth Field like the Throne Drei, but all of its capabilities, including combat power, are much strong than the latter's.
The Arche Drei's basic body structure is almost identical to Arche's, except for changes to its head and side-mounted GN Fang Containers, as well as the removal of toe-mounted GN Beam Sabers. While Arche Drei's head was based on Arche's, it is bigger and vestiges of Throne Drei can be seen in its design. This would leave Arche with only close combat using its GN Buster Sword and line-of-sight, while Arche Drei can easily locate Arche and use its beam weaponry without issues as it could control the scattered GN Particles. As a result, Nena deemed that her Arche Drei would have an overwhelming advantage when fighting Arche. However, there is no record of Nena piloting the Arche Drei.
History
While working as Wang Liu Mei's subordinate, Nena secretly plots to avenge her deceased brothers. Through her limited connection to the quantum processing system, Veda, she found that Ribbons Almark, one of the Innovators, might be of the most use to her in her quest for revenge. In the process of reaching out to Ribbons, she met another Innovator, Regene Regetta, and quickly built a rapport with him. Through Regene, who is trying to oust Ribbons, Nena learnt that Ribbons is actually her enemy as well since he is the sponsor of Ali al-Saachez, the mercenary who killed her brothers. Additionally, Ribbons also provided al-Saachez with a new mobile suit, the GNW-20000 Arche Gundam. Aware that her current mobile suit, the GNW-003 Gundam Throne Drei, is unlikely to best al-Saachez's Arche, Nena decided that she needed a more powerful machine.
Nena then approached Regene. She felt that since al-Saachez is Ribbons' capable helper, Regene would find it beneficial to strengthen her so that she could remove this 'obstacle'. To Nena's surprise, Regene readily agreed to help. He suggested incorporating the features of Throne Drei into the Arche, which is an advanced Throne series unit, and this would fit Nena well since she is accustomed to piloting Throne series unit. Regene added that he did not think Ribbons would object to developing a support machine for al-Saachez. Despite Regene's outwardly gentle demeanor, Nena could tell there was a malicious intent hidden behind his smile. She knew that he was mocking her complex feelings on piloting the same model of mobile suit as her hated enemy. In the past, Nena would have lost her cool, but after the death of her brothers and gaining more life experiences, she had changed.
With a smile that rival Regene's, Nena graciously thanked him and promised not to fail. Regene immediately caught onto the true meaning behind Nena's words, but maintained his smile, and simply replied that he would be looking forward to it. Nena later received the design data of Arche Gundam Drei and is overjoyed. She is confident that with Arche Drei she would be able to avenge her brothers. Nena then imagines piloting Arche Drei and engaging al-Saachez's Arche. While Arche is probably superior in overall combat power, Arche Drei had inherited Throne Drei's powerful GN Stealth field. The high concentration of GN Particles scattered by Arche Drei not only jam communications and radar, it could also diffuse beam shots and disrupt the control of GN Fangs. In short, it would rob the enemy of all means of attack except close combat. Nena's Arche Drei could then attack Arche from its sensors' blind spot.
All al-Saachez could do is to engage in close combat with the Arche's GN Buster Sword. Nena thinks that even an experienced mercenary like al-Saachez would have trouble battling freely without sensors and being restricted to line-of-sight. Additionally, Nena's Arche Drei could control the scattered GN Particles allowing her to fully grasped her enemy's position and use her mobile suit's beam weaponry without issues. She believes that there is no way she could lose with such overwhelming advantage. Nena is elated at the thought of killing al-Saachez, and once he is gone, Wang Liu Mei would be next. Killing Wang is an easy affair, what Nena wishes to savor is Wang's expression when she realized she was betrayed by the person whom she thought inferior. Nena decides to bide her time before turning against Wang as she finds that is where the fun is. Nena is confident that her preparations for a bright future are perfect. Despite this, there is no record of Nena piloting the Arche Drei.
