Technology & Combat Characteristics
An amphibious Mobile Suit which appears to be an intermediate stage in development between the standard MSM-03 Gogg and the MSM-03C Hygogg. It was recognized as a Gogg, which was known by Federation Forces soldiers for attacking Belfast, and was described as being fast in the water despite being heavily armored, especially in the front. Its long reach with its over-sized forearms made it risky to maneuver around it to attack the sides or rear without being grappled, though the relative lack of armor on the upper arms was a noticeable weak point. Its powerful generator could power multiple beam weapons, which could easily punch through Federation shields, and it also had rocket launchers and vulcan guns.
History
One such Gogg, referred to as a "gorilla" because of its overly large forearms, was reported shot down by an Earth Federation Forces Mobile Suit pilot at Jaburo on November 30th, U.C. 0079.
