Technology & Combat Characteristics

Gunmaster was designed to eliminate one of Airmaster's flaws, the lack of heavy firepower. Its primary weapon is a large Mega Beam Cannon. Other armaments include four homing missile which can be mounted under its wings, a shoulder beam gun, and beam cannons that replace Airmaster's nose-mounted vulcan guns, the latter can be used only in flight mode. While this new weapon set greatly increased Gunmaster's offensive ability over the Airmaster, the increased weight also drastically reduced its aerial mobility, even with additional thrusters added to the design.
