Technology & Combat Characteristics
Developed exclusively for Newtype pilots with the cooperation of the Flanagan Institute, the Kikeroga was equipped with the Psycommu System which could interact with and relay the thoughts of a Newtype pilot to control its wire-guided mega particle cannons, allowing for all-range attacks.
After the One Year War, extensive modifications to its internal mechanics were carried out, and a transformation mechanism into MS form was installed to increase tactical versatility. When transformed, its central block and cannon arms transform into the mobile suit proper, with the thruster blocks mounted behind it.
History
The Kikeroga was assigned to Cpt. Challia Bull, who deployed alongside Col. Char Aznable's GMS-α Red Gundam during the later stages of the One Year War.
Due to the peace treaty that prohibited all Psycommu-equipped machines, the Kikeroga became a prohibited weapon after the One Year War. Nonetheless, it was upgraded to be able to transform into MS mode, and in U.C. 0085 it was deployed to Side 6 under Challia's orders, and he would pilot it to destroy the MRX-010 Psycho Gundam that was targeting Kycilia Zabi. Immediately after, the Kikeroga would pursue the GMS-Ω GQuuuuuuX and capture it, bringing it back to the Sodon.
