The Mobile Worker MW-01 Model 01 Late Type is a mobile weapon that appears in the Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin OVA. It belonged to the Autonomous Republic of Zeon and would ultimately lead to the development of the mobile suit technology.

History

In U.C. 0071, a Mobile Worker MW-01 Model 01 Late Type piloted by Black Tri-Stars member Mash, fought an RTX-65 Guntank Early Type as a controlled test to assist in the development of Mobile Suits. The MW-01 won the battle, blocking the Guntank's cannon shells with its shield before smashing through it .
