A middle-range support variant of the YMS-09D Dom Tropical Test Type, this model of the Dom Cannon sports a pair of twin middle cannons on its backpack, and is based on operational data from the MS-06K Zaku Cannon. Unlike the other model of the Dom Cannon, the MS-09K-1 Dom Cannon, the MS-09K-2 version focused more on firepower. However, both mobile suits shared the same basic structure for their backpack. The MS-09K-2 was also armed with an arm-mounted triple missile pod, a machine gun, and hand grenades. Due to the mobile suit's design concept and balance issues, the heat saber was omitted.

History

Because of its late development, only a handful of these MS were produced before the end of the war.
