Technology & Combat Characteristics
The MS-14 Federation Gelgoog was produced using development data seized by the Earth Federation Forces after the One Year War. The mono-eye sensor of the MS-14A Gelgoog (Thunderbolt Ver.) was replaced with a visor-type sensor standard for Federation mobile suits. The shoulders are also heavily redesigned and feature additional control verniers. It is equipped with a backpack similar in appearance to that of the MS-06 Zaku II (Thunderbolt Ver.), with four rocket boosters used by the FA-78 Full Armor Gundam (Thunderbolt Ver.) attached to it.
History
Following the sinking of the the Pegasus-class assault carrier Spartan during the battle at Taal Volcano, its survivors formed a new strike team against the South Seas Alliance with the Beehive II as their flagship. An MS-14 Federation Gelgoog piloted by Alicia participated in the Beehive IIs attack on a training facility for MS-06R Psycho Zaku Mk-II's used by the Alliance located within a derelict colony in Side 4.
During the Federation's response to the Alliance's Operation Maitreya, Alicia's Gelgoog, along with the Full Armor Armor Gundam Head units piloted by Orphe and Dent, were severely damaged by an attack from a MSN-01 Psycommu System Zaku piloted by Billy Hickam.
