Technology & Combat Characteristics

A new prototype MS and the latest model developed by Burion as part of the Demi series. The unit was built without profitability in mind, and as such has higher than normal specs. However, ease of maintenance and other characteristics of the Demi series was still incorporated into the design.

History

The Demi Barding was brought to Asticassia School of Technology initially meant for testing. However, when Shaddiq Zenelli allowed Norea Du Noc, Enhanced Person Number 5 and Nika Nanaura to be released, allowing Norea to reclaim the EDM-GA-02 Gundam Lfrith Thorn and use it and the EDM-GB Gundvölvas to attack the school, Secelia Dote and Rouji Chante approached Earth House to offer the unit to them, especially as Chuatury Panlunch's MSJ-105CC Chuchu's Demi Trainer had been destroyed in the rampage. With Nika's help, the unit was tuned to Chuatury's specifications and was launched in time to save Felsi Rollo and her MD-0031 Dilanza. Despite being outnumbered, the two were able to survive the attack.

The Demi Barding was later redeployed in the attack on Quiet Zero, once again piloted by Chuatury. In order to bypass the fortress' powerful data storm, the Barding's Permet systems were disabled, instead relying on wireless systems to both operate and communicate with the shuttle carrying a small team of GUND-ARM, Inc. members and associates. Though initially threatened by the XGF-E3 Gundnode units patrolling the perimeter of the data storm, the Demi Barding managed to successfully carry the shuttle inside Quiet Zero, and remained docked all the way through the end of the conflict. The Barding was last seen being piloted by Chuatury to recover Suletta Mercury from deep space after the X-EX01 Gundam Calibarn's destruction.

As it was on loan to Chuatury, it can be assumed the Demi Barding was returned to Burion at some point after Quiet Zero's destruction.
