Technology & Combat Characteristics

A mobile worker used by Gjallarhorn for military operations and maintaining security in the streets. It is larger than most mobile workers and also has higher output, allowing it to use larger caliber weapons. Pilot enters the machine through an underside hatch, and the cockpit section can detach during an emergency. While less versatile and powerful than Gjallarhorn's mobile suits, they are cheaper and more numerous. Another advantage is that the machine runs on a Hydrogen Engine and thus can be legally operated within city limits, unlike the mobile suits that are restricted from entering any city as their Ahab Reactors would ruin the city functions.

History

In Post Disaster 323, several groups of Gjallarhorn Mobile Workers from the Gjallarhorn Mars Branch were dispatched to Mars to assault the Chryse Guard Security headquarters under the orders of the branch commander Coral Conrad, with the EB-06s Graze Commander Type of Orlis Stenja providing fire support. Some of them were destroyed by the CGS mobile worker forces, with the rest retreating upon the appearance of the ASW-G-08 Gundam Barbatos.

Later, during the rebellion in the Dort Colonies, several Gjallarhorn Mobile Workers guarding the Dort company building at Dort 3 were used to suppress the demonstration, using their chain guns to mow down groups of protesters.

Upon the arrival of Tekkadan on Earth, Gjallarhorn Mobile Workers were used to invade Millennium Island, with the resulting battle destroying some of the mobile workers. Several days later, during the Battle of Edmonton, the Gjallarhorn Mobile Workers barricading the main bridge leading into Edmonton inflicted heavy casualties on the invading Tekkadan troops, destroying many of Tekkadan's mobile workers when they tried to break through. It was only when Eugene Sevenstark arrived with reinforcements did the defense of the city falter.

Two years later, in Post Disaster 325, Gjallarhorn Mobile Workers of the Arianrhod Fleet were used to assault Tekkadan's headquarters on Mars once again, with EB-06 Graze and EB-08 Reginlaze mobile suits in support.
