A replica Mobile Suit (MS) designed to resemble the Principality of Zeon's MS-18 Kämpfer. Although its external appearance near identical to Kämpfer, its movable frame based on RF Zaku type, with an intermediate design of early and late type RF Zaku model. It also features a Quasi-Psycommu, and INCOM system that allows it to perform all-range attacks like a Newtype-use MS. Thanks to such weaponries turn the RF Kämpfer into a high performance MS, that can perform on par with ultra high performance MS such as the F90 Unit 3.
History
In U.C 116, the RF Kämpfer deployed by Zeon Remnants New Summer Project (NSP) during a terrorist attack on Side 4 Frontier I colony. This unit piloted by Kitch Kitchener, tried to destroy Strategic Naval Research Institute's headquarters and kill Hauzeri Ronah, but was ambushed by F90 Gundam F90 HLR Type. Then the RF Kämpfer proceed to attack the F90 and manage to overwhelm the F90 with its INCOM weaponries. Unfortunately, its triumph was short-lived. The appearance of the HULL Fighter turned the tide of the battle, and the RF Kämpfer was subsequently defeated and rendered inoperable by the Gundam F90-3 N-Type, though its pilot managed to escape. Although it was defeated, the attack was in fact a diversionary, for Fonse Kagatie's Bolinoak Samahn can sneak into SNRI HQ data banks and stole all of their top secret data, such as F91 Gundam F91 and VSBR data.
