Technology & Combat Characteristics
The Engage Zero was developed as a follow-up to the Gundam Development Project, but its existence was erased in the aftermath of the Delaz Conflict. However, the frame and operational data were secretly transferred from Anaheim Electronics to the Earth Federation Forces' Newtype Research Institute, and it was completely refurbished as an experimental Psycommu-equipped machine. After that, Dr. Loren Nakamoto, a scientist from the former Principality of Zeon, transferred to the Augusta Research Institute due to various circumstances, and with his cooperation an evaluation test was conducted, and the development number was finally registered as ORX-00Z. Peche Montagne continues to serve as test pilot by the way of a temporary transfer from Anaheim Electronics.
In addition to introducing many Psycommu technologies cultivated in the former Principality of Zeon's "Bishop Project", the latest technologies such as linear seats, panoramic monitors, and movable frame technology were introduced. As a result, Engage Zero has been reborn. The main armament is a wire-guided 6-tube mega particle cannon equipped on the outside of the manipulators of both arms, which is a progression of the Zeong's arm 5-barrel mega particle cannon, and similar to the Psycho Gundam series. It enables all-range attacks by Psycommu control.
