Technology & Combat Characteristics

The Virgo III is an advanced model in the Virgo series of mobile dolls. While its overall performance isn't much different from its predecessor the WF-02MD Virgo II, it boasts improvements in terms of both equipment and combat programming. Developed as a lightweight model, its mobility is superior to the Virgo II even though its overall thruster layout more closely resembles the original OZ-02MD Virgo. The Virgo III's planet defensors are a new larger model with increased output, allowing it to generate powerful forcefields with only two defensor units.

History

OZ planned to mass-produce this mobile doll. However, this never happened because of Tubarov's death. Instead, its plans were acquired by the Perfect Peace People, who put the Virgo III into mass production for themselves.

A customized unit modified to enable human piloting was used by Dix-Neuf Noinheim during his attack on Sanc Kingdom. It was equipped with a flight unit, granting it atmospheric flight capability. It was shot down by a OZ-08MMS Cancer piloted by Heero Yuy.
