A dueling-style unit made by tweaking the abilities of the Core Gundam II with the intention of docking it with the Pluto Armor. The Core Gundam II Plus has no problem docking with other pre-existing PLANETS Armor, and also featured a more combative appearance, as well as enlarged wings that improved the flight range of its flying form, the Core Flyer Plus.

History

The Core Gundam II Plus was used by Hiroto Kuga in a raid boss subjugation mission within Gundam Metaverse. It is here he meets Rio Hojo, suggesting they team up to clear out the enemy grunts to reach the raid boss at the floating temple. When ranged attacks appeared ineffective against the raid boss, a Vagan Gear Sid-like unit, Hiroto combined the Core Gundam II Plus with the Pluto Armor to form the PFF-X7II+/P9 Plutine Gundam.
