Technology & Combat Characteristics
A mobile suit adopted by the Earth Federation Forces in the A.G.140s as the war against the Vagans intensified. The Shaldoll Custom was produced and developed by the Madorna Workshop based on the workshop's CMS-B/67 Shaldoll. It fought alongside the RGE-B890 Genoace II and RGE-G1100 Adele, and was a popular machine amongst civilians who were temporarily registered as pilots. Thanks to the thrusters mounted on the outer edges of its shoulders, the Shaldoll Custom has better turning capability. Other changes to improve the mobile suit's thrust and mobility included additional leg thrusters and changes to the placement of the backpack thruster. It is equipped with basic weaponry such as a DODS Gun, two beam vulcans, and a shield. Despite its improved capabilities, the Shaldoll Custom appears to be outmatched by the ovm-e Dorado.
History
The Shaldoll Custom was developed sometime after the War of Bat Extermination in A.G. 115, though the exact date of introduction is unknown. In A.G 123, the Shaldoll Custom, alongside the RGE-B790 Genoace and RGE-B890 Genoace II, protected the Toludin Base from Vagan attacks.
The Shaldoll Custom remained in service in A.G. 140 and is used by the Earth Federation as one of their main mobile suits, although it is being phased out for the newer RGE-G1100 Adele. In battle, the Shaldoll Custom is shown to have difficulties fighting the Vagan's latest mass production unit, the ovm-e Dorado.
Even in A.G. 164, the Shaldoll Custom is still deployed by the Federation despite being outdated. Many of these units participated in the battles of Rostroulan and La Gramis.
