Technology & Combat Characteristics

During the One Year War two [[RGM-79［G］ GM Ground Type|RGM-79[G] GM Ground Type]]s were locally remodeled into RGM-79[G]RR GM RR (Reds) to compliment the RX-79［G］RR Gundam RR (RE-RAGE). Each unit's weapons loadout was tailored to fit its pilot's preferences, with the unit used by Marobi Braidon equipped for close combat, while William Macchio's unit is geared towards mid-range combat.

History

Two GM Ground Types were rebuilt into GM RR (Reds) by the Earth Federation subcontractor Born Industries for the use of the 17th Autonomous Mechanized Combined Unit, who were tasked with mopping up straggling Zeon forces retreating from South America following the Battle of Jaburo.
