Technology & Combat Characteristics
An modernized version of RGM-87 BR-GM developed by Earth Federation Forces. Externally its overall layout similiar with its predecessor, but its was modified with state of the art parts such as RGM-89J Jegan Normal Type's reactor, a pair of articulated vernier arms on the backpack, and vulcan pod. This modifications improved the BR-GM performance on par with something like Jegan Normal Type. Due to its nature as RMS-154 Barzam type mobile suit, it is highly modularized suit that is capable to be modified with any equipment, and one such example is the CR type used by Birnam Wood.
History
In U.C. 0099 several BR GM Mahaus were guarding a Newtype Lab on Side 3, but all of them were destroyed during a raid by terrorist group using AMX-011CR Zaku III High Mobility Types.
In U.C. 0115, a BR-GM piloted by Gideon Brondan, and accompanied by a AMS-119 Lehr Doga, assisted the Earth Federation Forces' Fastest Formula Corps to fend off Zeon Remnants's heavily modified AMA-01X Jamru Fin near Side 2 Amelia. The BR-GM also rescued a defecting MS-06 Zaku II piloted by Dir Rider and helped to drove away the remaining enemy forces.
In U.C. 0116, a BR-GM and several mobile suits were involved in an incident at the Side 1 Colony Bharat and they were defeated by the Fastest Formula Corps.
