Technology & Combat Characteristics
From the combat records of Char's Rebellion, it has been reported that "when psycho-frames are used, not only by Newtype users, but also by allies and enemies, the side with the greater number of psychoframes has an advantage in the battle." In response to this, the RGZ-95N ReZEL Type-N, was planned as a companion machine for the Unicorn series on a separate line from the RGM-96X Jesta.
Based on the C-type airframe, a psycho-frame is installed around the cockpit and in the backpack. By applying Psycommu technology to increase the pilot's reaction speed and aircraft control ability, it was designed with the main purpose of improving followability and cooperative operation with the leader aircraft, the Unicorn series. In addition, even if the selected pilot did not have Newtype aptitude, an operation method was planned in which the leader machine would remotely control this machine like a funnel via the psycho-frame.
