Technology & Combat Characteristics
Designed as a specialized high mobility land variant of the RX-107 [Rosette], the prototype concept of the Enhanced Land Battle Form sought to increase mobility, firepower, and protection. As such, a large mission module was designed to be fitted on the Rosette – which housed additional power generation, a very large rear skirt unit with powerful thrusters, a backpack attachment for a shield booster, moveable shields for versatile protection, and a scattering beam gun for enhanced assault capabilities. While the concept itself proved feasible on paper, the practical applications limited direct mass production of the unit, leading to a simplified and more refined design that would later become the RX-107 [Rosette] Enhanced Land Battle Form.
History
This design was created before the combat version of the [[RX-107 [Rosette] Enhanced Land Battle Form|RX-107 [Rosette] Enhanced Land Battle Form]] parts was developed. This plan was based on requirements for a land-combat mobile suit capable of high-speed hover movement using only nuclear thermal rocket engines, rather than nuclear thermal jets. However, because the project shifted to a type equipped with nuclear thermal jet engines, this ended up as merely a paper plan and no actual parts were ever constructed.
The prototype plan is based on the standard [[RX-107 [Rosette]|RX-107 [Rosette]]], and was meant to carry four energy packs that could be attached to its rear skirts, and a shield booster mounted on its back.
