Technology & Combat Characteristics
The RX-124 Gundam TR-6 [Kehaar II], also known as the “Gundam TR-6 [Woundwort] Kehaar II Form,” is a configuration designed to protect and escort the RX-124 Gundam TR-6 [Inle]. Within the Model Integration Plan, it is positioned as the successor to atmospheric-use mobile suits such as the Asshimar, TR-3 Kehaar, and Byarlant. In this form, the RX-124 Gundam TR-6 [Woundwort] is equipped with the “Kehaar II Unit,” an enhanced flight system. The head cover features a large antenna for communication with wingmen, and also functions as an aerodynamic cowl in MA mode. The shoulder-mounted flight units contain thermonuclear jets, while the small arm shields are composite pieces of equipment that incorporate spread beam guns. The chest-mounted attitude control binders act both as AMBAC actuators and as additional armor when in MA mode.
The Kehaar II is normally equipped with a Composite Shield Booster, although it occasionally carries the Gundam Mk-V’s beam rifle (prior to that machine’s capture by the New Desides). While some sources claim that the Kehaar II can operate in space, the manga Gundam Inle – The Black Rabbit’s Dream states that it cannot. In fact, it even depicts the unit’s thermonuclear jets stalling in the Martian stratosphere.
The Kehaar II is carried aboard the Inle mothership in a compact, disc-shaped mobile armor form and is deployed by flying to its target in this configuration. It can also function as a sub-flight system, carrying other mobile suits as needed. Upon reaching the target area, it shifts into an intermediate form with its limbs unfolded—a balanced configuration that retains a humanoid form while remaining optimized for aerial combat. For base-capture operations, it transforms fully into MS form, ideal for close-quarters combat, and primarily hovers for mobility. Kehaar II units are finished in three color schemes: the dark blue standard Titans color, the yellow used for units carried by the Inle, and the red color scheme of the ReZeon-captured variant.
