Technology & Combat Characteristics
The ORX-003 Domingo is a Earth Federation Forces experimental variable (transformable) mobile suit (MS) developed with the aim of a flight-capable MS that did not rely on a sub-flight system. During this time, technical limitations presented difficulties in creating compact transformable mechanisms for variable MS. A large body frame, nearly 25 meters in height, was needed to accommodate its transformation mechanisms. It can complete its transforming sequence into flight form in 2–3 seconds, however, it needed close to 10 seconds to transform back. Its development would lead to the creation of the ORX-005 Gaplant.
