Technology & Combat Characteristics
The Snow White is a prototype Gundam used in a conflict known as the Second Lunar War, being completed after the XXXG-00W0 Wing Gundam Zero and before the five Gundams used in Operation Meteor. After the war, it was dismantled and stored in a Winner family resource satellite. Decades later in Mars Century 0022, the Snow White’s remains were discovered by the Preventer and Instructor W was tasked to reconstruct it for Operation Mythos.
Like the Wing Zero, the Snow White is installed with ZERO System to ensure victory in battle, as well as other Gundam-related features such as being constructed from Gundanium Alloy and having a Self-Destruct System. In addition, it’s equipped with a protective Nano-Defensor mantle and a unique Buster Rifle that can fire various types of ammunition.
History
The Gundam Snow White was one of four prototype mobile suits created by the five Gundam Scientists that saw use in the Second Lunar War. It was completed in A.C 190 and at some point after the Second Lunar War, was dismantled and stored along with the other prototype Gundams in a hangar on a resource satellite owned by the Winner family.
In M.C 0022, the prototype Gundams were rediscovered by the Preventers and are tasked to Instructor W and Doktor T to be restored for Operation Mythos. Later that year during Mars’s Next Winter, Heero Yuy and Duo Maxwell (the son of Father Maxwell, the original Duo Maxwell) launch in the Snow White and Gundam Warlock respectively to retrieve the Prometheus Gundam after it was stolen by Katherine Oud Winner. Alongside Trowa Phobos, the Snow White and Warlock battle on Olympus Mons against several WMS-03 Maganac mobile dolls controlled by Katherine, yet are unsuccessful in capturing the Prometheus and are subsequently ambushed by a division of unmanned Mars Suits from the Martian Federation.
After defeating the Mars Suits, Instructor W pilots the Snow White in place of an exhausted Heero to continue the pursuit of the Prometheus, eventually catching up and recapturing it using some of the Sieben Zwerge. While resting, the ship Heero is on is hacked and captured by the Martian Federation. Instructor W, Duo, and Phobos head to the Martian Federation capital of Relina City to rescue Heero and the others aboard the ship.
On the way to Relina City, the rescue party encounters a battle between Katherine, Mille Peacecraft, and Naina Peacecraft of the Martian Federation against a mobile doll force consisting of Virgo IVs from the Lanagreene Republic. Professor W and the others decide to provide aid with the Snow White, Warlock, and Gundam Scheherazade, eliminating the mobile dolls’ planetary defensors and using the Snow White’s Sieben Zwerge Weiß to end the battle. Shortly after, the rescue party surrenders to the Martian Federation to rejoin Heero and the other captured Preventers.
When the Lanagreene Republic mobilizes its mobile fortress named Babel, Instructor W pilots the Snow White to intercept it. In response, a black Wing Gundam Zero piloted by a clone of Vingt Khushrenada is launched and engages in a duel with the Snow White. Despite having its cockpit penetrated by the Sieben Zwerge Silber, the Wing Zero isn’t defeated and uses its Buster Rifle to shoot down the Snow White into the southern waters of the Isidis Bay. Following the battle with the Wing Zero, the battleship Grand Chariot searches for the Snow White and recovers it, along with an unconscious yet alive Instructor W.
After being rescued from Babel and recovering his memories, Heero attempts to board the Snow White once more to stop Babel from firing its Zwölf Zwerg supercannon at Relina City, and is attacked by the Prometheus and Scheherazade. Heero is successful in boarding and uses the Sieben Zwerge Grün to immobilize the two Gundams.
In the Preventer’s final push to stop Babel, the Snow White duels with the Gundam Epyon Ares piloted by an AI hologram of Zechs Merquise. Babel’s Zwölf Zwerg is aimed and fired at the Snow White, yet survives the attack by shielding itself with its wings, incurring severe damage. Despite his injuries, Heero manages to fire the Sieben Zwerge Gold, penetrating straight through the Epyon Ares and into Babel’s core, shutting down both the Epyon’s pilot and the mobile fortress. The Snow White and Epyon Ares proceed to crash into the ground, with Heero exiting the wreckage.
